Please note that this gas tank is for Later Model Pagodas. If you have a 230SL that is from 1963 or 1964 this gas tank will not fit. The very early models had a different configuration for the trunk. If your spare tire sits vertically instead of horizontally, this gas tank will not fit. Please feel free to reach out to Us if you have any questions.
